Remember when the only men and women who cared about the natural environment were tree huggers as well as hippies? That has fully changed now, since we all seem to have an awareness that the planet is having difficulties, and we all have a part to play in fixing it. According to the specialists, to clean up the surroundings we are all going to have to make some improvements. Each and every family must start creating changes that are environmentally friendly and they should do this soon. Here are a number of tips that can help you save energy, for the most part by making your cooking area more green.
Why don’t we begin with something not that hard, changing the particular light bulbs. Of course you shouldn’t confine this to only the kitchen area. Compact fluorescent lightbulbs are energy-savers, and you will need to use them in place of incandescent lights. These bulbs are generally energy-efficient which means electricity consumption is definitely lower, and, although they cost a bit more to buy, will outlast an incandescent light ten times over. Utilizing these kinds of longer-lasting lightbulbs has the particular benefit that many fewer lightbulbs make it into landfills. Together with different light bulbs, you have to learn to leave the lights off when they are not needed. The family spends major time in the kitchen area, and how typically does the kitchen light go on in the morning and is left on all day long. And it’s not confined to the kitchen, it happens in other parts of the house at the same time. Make a habit of having the lights on only when they are needed, and you’ll be surprised at the amount of electricity you save.
The kitchen on its own provides you with many small methods by which energy and money can be saved. Eco-friendly living is not that difficult. Largely, all it takes is a bit of common sense.
We hope you got insight from reading it, now let’s go back to sangria (cocktail) recipe. You can have sangria (cocktail) using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you do that.
The ingredients needed to cook Sangria (cocktail):
- Prepare wine (1.5L) red or white, doesn't matter
- Get Apples (chopped to small chunks)
- Use oranges
- You need lime
- Take strawberries
- You need sprite (1/4 - 1/3 amount of wine)
- You need brandy or cointreau
Instructions to make Sangria (cocktail):
- Cut one of the orange into small chunks and reserved the oranges peels (the orange peels are optional). Juiced the other 2 oranges along with the lime. Cut both strawberries and apples into small chunks
- Put all the above (step no.1) in a big mixing bowl (I am using jug containers, as I need to be able to transport this in the car without spilling)
- Add in wine, brandy and sprite and mix well. It best to let it cool in the fridge for couple of hours (or over night), so the fruits are well marinated with booze.
- Pour sangria in a fancy glass along with the fruits, and drinks responsibly.
- My rule of thumb, is to have the ratio of sprite 1/4 - 1/3 of the total wine you used. As for the brandy.. well you can add more if you want to make it stronger (more alcoholic). Apples and oranges are mandatory fruits in sangria (the basic), other type of fruits can be added to your liking. I like to put strawberry in mine as it's added a nice flavour
If you find this Sangria (cocktail) recipe valuable please share it to your close friends or family, thank you and good luck.
