The ingredients needed to cook Oatmeal Cookies:
- Provide 1 cup all purpose flour
- Get 1 cup Oats
- Prepare 1 cup sugar
- Provide 1 cup butter/ margarine
- Get 1 tbsp honey
- Take 1 tsp cinnamon
- Get 1 tsp salt
Instructions to make Oatmeal Cookies:
- Preheat the oven to 180C
- Sieve the flour into a bowl and add the oats, salt and cinnamon. Mix all together.
- Melt the margarine / butter. Add the sugar and mix well.
- Combine all ingredients. The mix may be a bit sticky so once well mixed use spoons to make several balls of the dough and place onto a baking tray. Using a wet spoon, press the balls in the centre to flatten them to desired thickness.
- Bake for 15-20 mins. They may be a bit soft when removed from the oven but thats ok. They will harden once cooled.
- Set aside till cool and enjoy.
